2024 Election Cycle

I Be Black Girl is dedicated to ensuring that Black Women, Girls, and Femmes can live wholly. As part of that mission, we have launched our voter registration, education and turnout initiative, Beyond the Ballot.

Beyond the Ballot focuses on engaging new and returning voters in North Omaha.

Why North Omaha?

North Omaha is where Black voters are most heavily populated.

In this area, about 21.6% of eligbile voters turned out for the May 14th Primary Election.

In the 2020 U.S. presidential election, Black folks represented about 13.5% of eligible voters.

The number of Black eligible voters in the United States is projected to reach 34.4 million by the November election.

Creating a community where we have access and opportunity for ourselves and our families starts with exercising our power through our vote, but it doesn’t end there. Whether you are a first-time or returning voter, we got you.

Not sure if you’re registered?
